Exquisite gourmet dinner and street food festival at Budersand on Sylt

Hörnum / Sylt. – Colourful, dynamic and full of culinary passion – the gourmet event "Felix & Friends" is fascinating its guests for the third year in a row with brilliant culinary artistry and excellent flavour nuances. Two completely different food experiences merge into a harmonious celebration where the highest quality is present everywhere. The event begins on 13 March with an exquisite gourmet dinner and transforms into a vibrant street food festival on 14 March. What makes it extraordinary is that five Michelin-starred chefs, winemakers and producers of exquisite delicacies are not working behind the scenes, but can be experienced live and up close on site. The exquisite dishes composed by the top chefs, the way new flavour nuances are created and how the food experts like to end their working day – all this can be experienced on both days of the event, with high-end food guaranteed.

"UNTER FREUNDEN" – gourmet dinner followed by a kitchen party

On the first evening, guests will enjoy a delicious six-course menu in an atmospheric, private setting – lovingly and creatively prepared by just as many top chefs from German-speaking countries. The ensemble includes Marcel Siegers (Genusswerk Burgberg) and the five Michelin-starred chefs Marcel Görke*(Heimatjuwel Hamburg), Michael Dyllong*(The Stage Dortmund), Nikodemus Berger*("Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro" Berlin), Benjamin Geisser*("Soleil d'Òr" St. Gallen, Switzerland) and host Felix Gabel*("KAI3" Sylt). During dinner, each chef reveals the special composition of their dish, engages in conversation with the guests and, in this way, allows them to experience the highest culinary art authentically and directly. The exclusive wine accompaniment for the evening is provided by the Oliver Zeter Winery. Live performances by Simon Schmidt on acoustic guitar will provide entertaining interludes between courses, before the chefs and guests round off the evening together at a KAI3 kitchen party with DJ Florian Frings.
The gourmet dinner on Friday, 13 March begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. and is available for £199 per person, including drinks, a champagne reception and an atmospheric kitchen party.

Street food festival of star chefs

When haute cuisine and street food come together, the spacious premises of the Hotel BUDERSAND are transformed into a colourful festival where high-end food can be enjoyed with all the senses. From the lobby to the bar to the KAI3 restaurant, 18 beautifully decorated stands and stations line up side by side – a dynamic culinary fair that lets guests feel the love of quality and invites them to wander around, surrounded by the aroma of the finest delicacies. Whether it's tender Wagyu beef from North Frisia, the finest chocolate from Coppeneur or exclusive caviar from Imperial Kaviar Berlin – at each stand, top chefs, partners, winemakers and producers of great delicacies celebrate their personal culinary highlights. In a relaxed, exuberant atmosphere, they let you look over their shoulders and invite you to join in – tastings included. DJ Hottie will provide the musical accompaniment with driving electro beats.
The "Street Food Festival of Star Chefs" on Saturday, 14 March starts at 6:30 p.m. Participation costs £150 per person, including a champagne reception and drinks.
