Anne-Sophie Pic goes London

Opening in December 2016

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will be bringing an exciting new dining venue to the heart of the City of London late 2016 through a partnership with renowned French Chef Anne-Sophie Pic. Located at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, La Dame de Pic is set to be a vibrant new destination for gourmands in the capital, and will showcase Chef Pic’s creative French cuisine in a classic English environment.

Famed for being the only current French female chef to be awarded three Michelin stars, Chef Anne-Sophie Pic began her culinary career in her family’s restaurant Maison Pic in Valence in southeastern France. Since then she has gone on to open restaurants in Lausanne and Paris, garnering awards and accolades along the way. La Dame de Pic at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square will be her first restaurant in the United Kingdom.

History flows through the colonnaded corridors of Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square. With an enviable location just a stone’s throw from the banks of the Thames and adjacent to the Tower of London, Ten Trinity Square was originally designed as the headquarters of the Port of London Authority. Its lofty halls have served a significant part in the history of London and the world as a whole, playing host to the inaugural meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1946, an event today commemorated in the walnut-panelled United Nations room. In addition to the Hotel, this striking building will also feature 41 spacious and elegantFour Seasons Private Residences.

At the heart of this spectacular location, La Dame de Pic will give a nod to the historical Parisian brasseries but in a dining room that is classically English. Designed by Bruno Moinard of Paris-based architects 4BI, the restaurant will be an impressive yet relaxing space featuring natural wood flooring, carved woodwork, curved leather banquettes and columns covered with bevelled mirrors.

Guests will enter La Dame de Pic either through the bar, the perfect place to stop for an aperitif or a glass of champagne before heading to the dining room, or via a dedicated entrance from the street. A private wine cellar and private dining room will sit alongside the main dining room.

Known for continually revisiting ingredients and exploring unusual cooking methods, Chef Pic will be showcasing her distinct culinary identity rich in powerful and unexpected flavour combinations. With a core focus on using only seasonal and local ingredients and introducing guests to new taste sensations , dishes will delight the eyes as much as the palate.

“I am thrilled to be partnering with Four Seasons to bring my cuisine to a new audience in London in the spectacular location of Ten Trinity Square. Renowned globally for its quality, service levels and its people culture, we share the company’s strong values and are equally focussed on delivering an unforgettable dining experience to our guests,” says Chef Pic.

Charlie Parker, General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, says, “We are delighted to be working alongside Chef Anne-Sophie Pic to bring a completely new gastronomic experience to the Square Mile. La Dame de Pic is set to become a new dining destination in London, and we are excited to be able to bring this new offering to the capital. ”
