FREIBURG IM BREISGAU  The "Spain Fusion" symposium will take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich on 5 May. As part of the "Chef of the Year" event, trade visitors can expect a practice-orientated training and exhibition platform with exclusive Spanish products and exciting seminars. The event will feature top chefs from German and Spanish gastronomy, such as René Frank (CODA Dessert Dining**, Berlin), Fran Martínez (Rest. Maralba**, Albacete, España), Iván Cerdeño (Rest. Iván Cerdeño**, Toledo, España) and many more.

Experience Spanish cuisine like never before, discover new products and be inspired by the greats of Spanish gastronomy. - The "Spain Fusion" on 5 May 2024 offers all of this with a view of the FC Bayern Munich stadium in the Allianz Arena!

VOCENTO GASTRONOMIA, the organisers behind the "Madrid Fusion" gastronomy symposium, which is known worldwide for its creativity and innovation, are now bringing this unique format to Germany for the second time. After a successful launch in Bonn in November 2023, Spain Fusion promises to be an unforgettable experience in Munich as well.

In the context of the renowned gastronomy competition "Chef of the Year", this event offers a practice-oriented training and exhibition platform where trade visitors can discover and taste exclusive Spanish products and take part in exciting seminars and masterclasses.

Spain Fusion is aimed at importers, distributors, delicatessens, chefs, local gastronomy entrepreneurs and other industry professionals.

Experience Spain and promote Spanish gastronomy

In addition to the product presentation, the focus of the Spain Fusion event format is primarily on interaction and experiencing Spanish products through demonstrations and masterclasses. The aim is to promote the excellent image of Spanish food products and Spanish gastronomy in Germany, strengthen their presence and establish themselves as an important part of regional Spanish gastronomy. The event is promoted in Germany by Foods Wines from Spain / ICEX Spain Export and Investment:  "Our aim is to offer Spanish products a stage and strengthen bilateral trade relations. To this end, we invite all key players to use this platform and exchange ideas!" says Manuel Ledesma, Head of the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Düsseldorf.

Exciting programme with top international chefs and experts

On 5 May, trade visitors will have the opportunity to discover regional treasures and learn from the greats of Spanish cuisine in the VIP area of the Allianz Arena! "As part of the "Chef of the Year" event, we are developing a day of exciting tastings and seminars with masterclasses on various Spanish gastronomic products and their preparation techniques in a unique setting. It is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Spanish gourmet products and wines!", emphasises Benjamin Lana, Managing Director of VOCENTO GASTRONOMIA.
Programme highlights and exhibitors: Among others, the Masters of Wine Almudena Alberca & Fernando Mora, cheese specialist Vanessa Cruz, extra virgin olive oil specialist Kerstin Barduhn, as well as other German and Spanish experts for Spanish gastronomic products will be present. Discover the preparations of Spanish products at the hands of talented master chefs such as Fran Martínez (Rest. Maralba**, Albacete, Spain),Lucía Freitas (Rest. ATafona*. Santiago de Compostela, Spain), René Frank (Rest. Coda Dessert Dining**, Berlin, Germany), Javier Abascal (Rest. La Lola. Sevilla, Spain), Lluis Valls (Rest. El Poblet**, Valencia, Spain) and Iván Cerdeño (Rest. Iván Cerdeño**, Toledo, Spain) . Over 70 Spanish products will be presented in the exhibitor area - whether it's prized Iberian ham, exquisite wine and cava, delicious tinned products, exquisite cheese or extra virgin olive oil - the essence of Spain will be in the spotlight here.
