The newly designed Schlossberg restaurant is adorned with a star. Head chef Jörg Sackmann is a “convinced Black Forest native”, but without blinkers and with the ability to think outside the box. He takes influences from the Black Forest and the whole world - Mediterranean, Asian, regional - as inspiration to create something new and refined. With son Nico, the “down-to-earth natural type” - who cooks boldly - the next generation has taken over. The Romantik Hotel Sackmann has been family-owned since 1927 and has long been a firm institution in Baiersbronn, appealing to both connoisseurs and those seeking relaxation. The cooking style of the bustling Jörg Sackmann, who creates culinary delicacies not only on television but also at galas, is considered contemporary, aroma-intensive and inspiring. The dishes combine regional influences with Mediterranean and Asian accents. Herbs and spices from all over the world play a special role, creating surprising culinary delights time and again. His son Nico also continues this style in a similar yet very unique way. The service team led by sommelier Manuel Vogel presents four menus.
