Conclusion: Florian und Katrin Winter, die ehemals die Kanne in Deidesheim betrieben haben, sind in dem kleinen Weinort nun schon seit einigen Jahren heimisch. Es gibt mehrere Menüs zur Auswahl, die aber auch frei kombiniert werden können. Alle Gerichte haben ein gutes handwerkliches und geschmackliches Niveau. Read more...
Positive: Das Restaurant liegt im ersten Stock. Von einigen Plätzen ist die Aussicht sehr schön. Es werden qualitativ hochwertige regionale Produkte angeboten, die handwerklich gut verarbeitet sind. Die Küche ist eher klassisch, es gibt z.B. ein Kottlett von einem Donnersberger Wollschwein und einen Saumagen mit Pilzen von dieser Rasse, Beide Gerichte schmeckten sehr gut. Es werden Menüs und einzelne Gerichte angeboten. Es ist auch möglich aus einem Menü ein Hauptgericht zu wählen. Die Weinberatung des Sommeliers ist sehr gut.
Conclusion: Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen
Conclusion: Besonders empfehle ich die Gerichte vom Donnersberger Wollschein - tolle, sehr fair kalkulierte Weinkarte mit trinkreifen GG-Weinen aus der Pfalz.
