Kitchen Table at Bubbledogs, CORE und Moor Hall holen sich zwei Sterne. Marcus Wareing abgwertet

Im neuen Guide Michelin für Großbritannien erhalten drei Restaurants erstmals den zweiten Stern. Dazu gehört das Kitchen Table at Bubbledogs in Bloomsbury/London von James Knappett, das CORE von Clare Smyth steigt mit dieser Bewertung in den Guide ein. Smyth war zuvor Küchenchefin im Drei-Sternerestaurant Gordon Ramsay. Außerdem wird nund das Moor Hall in Aughton von Mark Bichell mit zwei Sternen eingestuft.

Das Restaurant Marcus von Marcurs Wareing verliert den zweiten Stern.

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director der MICHELIN Guides bezeichnete Großbritannien als eine der wichtigsten Food-Destinationen der Welt. Dies begründete er mit der kulinarischen Vieflalt insbesondere in London. Dies zeige sich auch im neuen Michelin Guide, in dem erstmals drei Pubs mit einem Stern ausgezeichnet wurden.
