Conclusion: Dass es hier klassisch zugeht, wussten wir bereits. Aber wenn es so makellos und mit hervorragenden Zutaten gemacht ist wie hier, ist es zur Abwechslung mal eine wirkliche Freude. Wir sind ja viel unterwegs und für alle möglichen Küchenstile zu haben. Ob es dem Alter zuzuschreiben ist oder dem zeitweisen Wunsch nach etwas Vertrautem und Gewohnten, kann ich nicht sagen, aber unterschätze mir keiner die Klassik. Hier findet sich noch Handwerk und Harmonie ohne störende Dissonanzen. Read more...

Conclusion: Lange hat mich ein Restaurant nicht mehr so positiv überrascht. Hier wird zwar nicht versucht das Rad neu zu erfinden. Aber hier kann man kochen, hat Geschmack und versteht Balance, und scheint keinerlei Kompromisse beim Einkauf zu machen. Der Service ist leger, angenehm und kenntnisreich, besonders auch in Bezug auf die verlockende und freundlich kalkulierte Weinkarte. Die Tante mit ihrem sympathischen Team verdient ein volleres Haus. Conclusion: Besonders im Sommer könnte man das mit einem Spaziergang am Rhein verbinden. Auf jeden Fall ist in unseren Augen das Konzept gute Zutaten und gute Stimmung voll aufgegangen. Read more...
