Gourmet Louis moves into the Rococo Salon
BOTTMINGEN Since 15 May 2024, a new chapter in the history of the Weiherschloss in Bottmingen, Switzerland, awaits gourmets and connoisseurs. Gourmet restaurant Louis has found its new home in the Rococo Salon of the hotel. In addition to the Brasserie du Château, which opened in March 2024, and the event & banqueting area, the gourmet restaurant "Louis" now rounds off the Weiherschloss's overall gastronomic offering.
Step into a world of culinary delights where chef Guy Wallyn and his kitchen team serve up masterpieces of classic French cuisine. Discover the fine symphonies of flavours and textures. Chef Guy Wallyn, who has been awarded 15 Gault Millau points, will present his creations in close proximity to you. "For example, I will serve the amuse-bouche directly in Restaurant Louis," says Guy Wallyn.
Whether you are planning a business meeting, an intimate dinner or an elegant celebration, your enjoyment will take centre stage. During the summer months on the idyllic terrace, during the colder months in the historic rococo parlour. The historic room with its freshly renovated original stucco work from the Baroque period (around 1764) offers guests a special ambience. Castle host Peter Kapral says: "The directly adjoining tower room with fireplace also offers the opportunity to enjoy an evening in an intimate setting."
From Wednesday to Saturday, chef Guy Wallyn prepares a multi-course menu every evening and says: "I'm delighted to be closer to the guests now". Vegetarians will also get their money's worth, for which we ask you to order in advance. Seating is limited - small and fine is the motto at Gourmet Louis with its 20 or so gourmet seats. Booking in good time is an advantage.
