Benny Darchinger and Daniel Pietsch join the team at the Munich restaurant

MUNICH. Restaurant Broeding in Munich is setting new accents with two new additions: Benny Darchinger, former sous chef at Munich's Michelin-starred restaurant Tian, specialises in vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Daniel Pietsch, who most recently accompanied the launch of the Nuremberg restaurant "etz" as a saucier and fermentation expert on its way to two Michelin stars and a green star, are now working there.

After more than 20 years of sustainable operation at the long-established Munich restaurant Broeding, the restaurant was awarded the green star in the Michelin Guide for sustainability this year: "Among other things, we place great value on local products and whole animal utilisation," says head chef Manuel Reheis about the award.
