Munich: Tantris and Tantris DNA

Reaktion Ein Stern, Reaktion Zwei Sterne

TANTRIS MAISON CULINAIRE is delighted to have been honoured in the new GUIDE MICHELIN 2024

The Tantris Maison Culinaire is delighted to continue to hold its stars in the two outstanding restaurants RESTAURANT TANTRIS** and RESTAURANT TANTRIS DNA* in Germany. This outstanding achievement is the result of tireless teamwork and a deep passion for culinary excellence, savoir-faire and French haute cuisine, which brought Tantris to Munich 50 years ago.

Executive Chef Benjamin Chmura and his talented team lead a kitchen in which everything is 100% handmade and in which seasonal and regional products play the leading role. Chmura emphasises: "It's all about teamwork and hard work. I would therefore like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, from our brilliant head pastry chef Maxime Rebmann to the unique service team led by Mona Röthig and Jürgen Haberle. Special thanks also go to Julian Grunwald, our head sommelier, Matthias Hahn, Director Tantris Maison Culinaire, for his valuable experience and the owners Sabine and Felix Eichbauer for their trust and support."

Benjamin Chmura, born in 1989 in Ottawa, Canada, began his culinary journey in Lyon at the "Institut Paul Bocuse". After working in renowned restaurants such as the "Auberge de l'Ill" in Alsace and the five-star "George V" hotel in Paris, he expanded his experience in London and Australia. As the youngest head chef at the three-star restaurant Troisgros, he established himself as a talented chef. Since 2021, Chmura has been head chef at the Tantris restaurant in Munich. In May 2023, he took over the overall culinary management as Executive Chef at the Tantris Maison Culinare with the RESTAURANT TANTRIS and the TANTRIS DNA.

After an exciting star-studded night, Tantris Maison Culinaire would like to congratulate all the award-winning German restaurants and all our great Munich colleagues for their outstanding achievements and their commitment to true culinary art in Germany. Thanks also to all guests and culinary friends of the house, as well as the Michelin Guide for its appreciation of the work.
