The new restaurant rankings published

The 2014 restaurant rankings for Germany are now online. A summary of the gourmet trends of the past year follows:

 "For the first time Kevin Fehling from Restaurant La Belle Epoque in Travemünde occupies a position in the top ten of the rankings about which I am particularly happy" says Hannes Buchner, founder of the gourmet portal Restaurant Rankings.com. Bobby Bräuer from EssZimmer in Munich can also feel pleased. Only a year after opening his restaurant he was placed first in the promotion list with 103.40 points, followed by Roel Lintermans from Les Solistes by Pierre Gagnaire and Ralf Kronmüller from Restaurant Stadtpalais. "Not all placings were a surprise, especially in the front row many outstanding performances over the years were confirmed. The cooks with three Michelin stars Harald Wohlfahrt, Joachim Wissler and Klaus Erfort again share first place in the rankings for the third time in a row with 119.20 points each. Close on their heels are Helmut Thieltges with 118.70 Punkten at fourth place and Thomas Bühner and Klaus-Peter Lumpp, who share fifth place. Seventh place goes to Sven Elverfeld and Christian Bau", according to Buchner.
