Theme evenings & tasting programme in the Skykitchen

Berlin

Into summer with fresh ideas on Wednesdays and Thursdays

BERLIN: The Berlin Michelin-starred restaurant is starting the summer with new menu offerings.

From now on, there will be monthly themed evenings that promise a special culinary experience, with one ingredient taking centre stage to match the respective theme. In May, there will be a surprise menu where only the ingredient asparagus is known. The actual 4-course menu remains a surprise, accompanied by exquisite wines from the guest winemaker "Werther-Windisch aus Rheinhessen" or sparkling non-alcoholic drinks. We start with a specially created aperitif (with or without alcohol). This is accompanied by water and espresso.

In June, paprika takes centre stage, accompanied by a public screening to mark the European Championships. On Wednesday 19 June, the restaurant invites  guests to a football dinner with DFB sommelier Jens Pietzonka. This evening will of course include a live broadcast, wine and beer from Hungary and Germany as well as culinary delights in bistro style and home cooking from both countries. As the game starts at 6 pm, the dinner starts at 5 pm. In July, before the Skykitchen goes into its summer break, there will be a summer party with the clear theme of "hot". On 20 July, the focus will be on roasted flavours. Guests can expect top-class barbecue enjoyment with snacks and delicacies from the fire, accompanied by five different guest winemakers and live music.

After the summer break, the autumnal theme continues in September. Further information on the theme evenings will be published on the homepage. The theme evenings can be booked online. Price per person and theme evening € 199.00.

In addition, Thursdays and Fridays are now tasting days at Skyktischen. The offer is aimed at guests who want to get to know the world of fine dining, then there are four selected courses from the current menu, combined with carefully selected wines or drinks. A perfectly matched aperitif, refreshing water and an espresso round off the culinary adventure. The total price is then 150 euros per person
