Starnberg: Gourmetrestaurant Aubergine

Reaktion Ein Stern

Tenth Michelin star for Starnberg's creative cuisine

STARNBERG  All good things come in tens! At the Starnberg gourmet restaurant Aubergine, head chef Maximilian Moser and his team have made the unreal a reality and have been awarded their tenth Michelin star in a row. This means that the starred restaurant at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg south of Munich is still one of the top addresses on Germany's gourmet map. After receiving the award from the renowned Michelin Guide on 26 March 2024 in Hamburg, the proud head chef emphasised the team's performance: "Each and every individual can feel honoured with this award, regardless of their position. From dishwashers to service - the system doesn't work without them. I am also very grateful to all former colleagues for their work." And can you still have goals? "By no means has everything been achieved," says the 38-year-old Moser. "If I had a feeling of satiety, I would have to pack my knives. I think it's extremely important to continue to be ambitious!" Located just outside Munich in an exclusive extension to the four-star superior hotel, the gourmet restaurant Aubergine has been the only starred restaurant in the Upper Bavarian Fünfseenland region since 2014.
