Munich, July 2023. 35-year-old chef Max Natmessnig is leaving restaurant Alois - Dallmayr Fine Dining at his own request at the end of September 2023. Together with his wife Bekah Roberts-Natmessnig, the Austrian is taking on a new professional challenge. "We are very sorry to see them leave but wish them both the best for their next career step abroad," said Florian Randlkofer, managing partner of Alois Dallmayr KG.

"I have found everything at Dallmayr that one could wish for as a chef and my wife and I have felt very comfortable here. The decision was really difficult for us. But in the end, we decided to take advantage of a unique professional opportunity abroad, where we will start in the fall. We would like to thank the whole house of Dallmayr and the entire team for the trust they have placed in us and for the opportunity to develop so creatively here," says Max Natmessnig.

The many high ratings and awards for the fine dining restaurant once again confirms that Dallmayr has taken the right culinary path with the Alois concept.

"We are proud to have achieved so much within such a short time with the entire Alois team and are positive that we will continue to give our guests a lot of pleasure with our restaurant concept in the future," says Florian Randlkofer.

After the annual summer break, which begins on July 30, Alois will reopen to guests on August 30. The new kitchen management will be announced in the fall. On an interim basis, sous chef Miguel Marques will take over managing the kitchen. Julien Morlat, longtime sommelier and restaurant manager will continue to host at the Alois - Dallmayr Fine Dining.
