It doesn't always have to be high up, just the unobstructed view of an impressive building or a spectacular landscape can make a visit to a restaurant an unforgettable experience.

Harbor House, Elk (United States)
Right on the Pacific coast, a culinary experience in a class of its own awaits you with chef Matthew Kammerer. The restaurant at the Harbor House Inn, a historic property on the Mendocino Coast, is the only two-star restaurant in the region. Reopened in 2018, the restaurant has been transformed into a culinary institution under Kammerer's leadership. The daily changing menu is determined by the produce from the restaurant's own farm, seafood from the coast, and animals from farmers in Mendocino County. The team enjoys preparing the dishes over an open fire, steam, and smoke.
