Rheingau restaurant closes its doors on 4 October

HOCHHEIM AM MAIN. The restaurant Les Deux Dienstbach is closing. According to a social media post by the owner, Jennifer Himmel, it will remain open on selected days until 4 October. “Les Deux was never just a place for us. It was about savoir-vivre – enjoying ourselves together, laughing, celebrating and loving life. You, our guests, made Les Deux what it was. Many of you have been with us over the years; guests became friends – and countless shared moments turned into memories to last a lifetime. We are truly grateful for that,” the post reads. Now, a new chapter is beginning for her, with more time for her family.

The restaurant was founded 14 years ago in Wiesbaden by sisters Jennifer and Nathalie Dienstbach. From the very beginning, the restaurant was dedicated to French cuisine. In 2022, it moved to the immediate vicinity of the Künstler winery in Hochheim. In 2023, Nathalie Dienstbach left the restaurant. Her sister continued to run it. Christian Aguilar took over as head chef.
