Restaurant review
Essigbrätlein, Nuremberg
Forum member Calvados* says: “Every time we round the corner of the Weinmarkt and catch sight of the restaurant’s entrance, we’re particularly delighted. A quick ring of the bell, and the staff welcome us warmly. This time, it’s even Chef Andree Köthe who greets us. The menu for the day is immediately placed on the table – with no prices listed, which emphasises the relaxed, familiar atmosphere. Anyone who books a table here probably knows the price range, as the Essigbrätlein has built up an excellent reputation over the years …” (Published in May 2026)
