A native of the Palatinate, she has been shaped by fine dining, wine and warm hospitality from a very young age. Her career in the restaurant trade began whilst she was still at school. During her training as a hotel manager at the Deidesheimer Hof, she gained her first experience of Michelin-starred cuisine at the Schwarzer Hahn restaurant. Further roles took her to the Heitlinger Genusswelten, the Restaurant Haerlin, the Waldhotel Sonnora and, most recently, the Restaurant Ophelia. Alongside her deep connection to the Palatinate, she has found a second home on the Moselle – with its unique wine-growing landscape, exceptional wines and genuine hospitality. Since July 2026, Alena Müller has been bringing her experience and passion to schanz. restaurant. With the highest standards of quality, dedication and a keen sense of her guests’ needs, she embodies a modern, warm culture of hospitality.
