“At least once a year we dine at Restaurant Wonka in Nuremberg – today marks our ninth visit. In 2024, Wonka was awarded its first Michelin star – a great honour for its ambitious cuisine. The restaurant is situated in an unassuming old building, just a few steps from Nuremberg Castle. Inside, there is a harmonious contrast: stylish, clearly laid out and deliberately understated, without veering into the arbitrary. The premises are divided into four distinct areas, each creating its own atmosphere. It remains pleasantly quiet at lunchtime – only two other tables are occupied.” (Published in May 2026)
