Our forum member Merlan says: “Not only is it a thrilling read, but it’s equally thrilling on the plate from start to finish – making it a truly wonderful surprise this evening. Pilz works with the utmost finesse, creating plate presentations that are visual works of art, without, however, neglecting the culinary integrity of his creations. Here, with great culinary skill, he creates bold flavour combinations that leave us in awe and filled with enthusiasm, course after course. Had we eaten this menu in a two-star restaurant, we would not have questioned that rating. We therefore believe Raimar Pilz has enormous potential, which shows that his journey is far from over. We, for one, will certainly be keeping this wonderful restaurant in mind from now on whenever our travels take us to or via Bad Säckingen again. And that’s not just down to this ambitious chef, but also to the hostess, Annett Ronneberger, who guides her guests through the evening in such a pleasant, knowledgeable and charming manner.
