We had an absolutely brilliant time – so much so that we’ll definitely be coming back. I particularly loved that we were able to get to know the chefs personally. They brought their dishes to the table themselves. This interaction made the evening something special. Added to this was the warm atmosphere created by the service staff; there was laughter and banter, whilst the service was of the highest standard. It never felt stiff or formal, but was characterised by a great deal of warmth. And in that moment, I realised once again: food can be so much more than just a treat.
