Restaurant review

KLUTH, Cologne

Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Forum

"In their cuisine, vegetables play a role that is at least as important as that of fish and meat."

Forum member Thomashaj says: “Hannes Radeck and Kevin Rademacker focus entirely on seasonal and regional produce in their own restaurant. To demonstrate this transparently, a list of all suppliers and producers is provided at your table right at the start of the evening. In their kitchen, vegetables play a role at least on a par with fish and meat. The dishes are creative, but not overly intellectualised, and easy to enjoy. In terms of culinary craftsmanship, expectations are equally met. It’s understandable that the wine list is still somewhat limited for such a new venture. However, if you’re not particularly keen on natural wines, the selection is rather limited. But you can still find something to your taste. On the service side, we’re greeted by a familiar face from our favourite restaurant. But it’s not just for that reason – it’s also because she fits so well into the overall concept – that she and her colleague work together in a completely uncomplicated and relaxed manner, whilst always remaining attentive.” (Published in March 2026)
