4-Hands-Dinner
Guest chef at LA VIE: Nick Bril
To round off the “Chef’s in Town Düsseldorf” series – in the run-up to the Rolling Pin Convention on 28 and 29 September 2026 – LA VIE by thomas bühner welcomes Nick Bril, owner and head chef of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant The Jane in Antwerp, which moved in 2025 from a former military band hall in the Groen Kwartier to the harbour district of Het Eilandje. Bühner and Bril share a long-standing personal friendship – Timo Fritsche will be preparing the joint seven-course menu in the kitchen, whilst Bühner will be hosting as patron. The evening is also part of the art project “Farbgenuss” by Kai Weidner, who photographs the dishes live in the kitchen – before they are plated and after they have been eaten. Inspired by this, the Berlin-based artist Stohead is developing a standalone series of works for the evening. Stohead already has a permanent presence at LA VIE: a large-format signature piece defines the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Sunday, 27 September 2026, 5.00 pm | Guest chef Nick Bril + “Farbgenuss” art project | €298.00 per person (including aperitif, water and coffee) | €448.00 per person (with wine pairing)
