Restaurant review

De Cuijt, Mierlo

Netherlands, Mierlo, Forum

"The dishes are simple and stripped of anything superfluous, yet they impress with their bold flavours, often featuring Korean elements."

The dishes are minimalist and eschew anything superfluous, yet they impress with their bold flavours, often featuring Korean elements. However, they don’t set themselves any limits here, which makes the menu very varied. Given their background, it’s no surprise that the execution is already of a very high standard. Should awards follow soon, one must expect that the menu prices – which are currently still extremely reasonable – will rise. Even then, “De Cuijt” would certainly still be worth a visit. But until then, this is definitely a clear recommendation.” (Published in March 2026)
