FIVE CHEFS Garden Festival 2026

Event takes place at: Dortmund

10–12 July: Three days of good food, music and summer vibes at the Schultenhof in Dortmund-Hombruch

Dortmund. – Following the successful start to the new season with the Grand Opening Kitchen Party and the launch of the menu at Dyllong’s pop-up at the airport, FIVE CHEFS 2026 is now looking ahead to the next major highlight: From 10 to 12 July 2026, the Schultenhof in Dortmund-Hombruch will once again be transformed into a venue for culinary encounters, special moments of indulgence and a relaxed summer atmosphere. With the FIVE CHEFS Garden Festival 2026, the successful open-air format enters its next phase and, for the first time this year, expands to three festival days.

Three days, five chefs, one shared festival

Once again, the focus is on the five chefs of FIVE CHEFS 2026, who shape the festival with their individual styles and culinary perspectives. At their stalls, they present selected dishes and invite guests to experience the diversity of the concept in a relaxed atmosphere under the open sky. The Garden Festival thus embodies what FIVE CHEFS is all about: high-quality cuisine, distinctive styles and the idea of making culinary enjoyment a special experience – open, accessible and, in the case of the Garden Festival, set against a summery backdrop. Under the motto FINEDINE meets STREETFOOD, the five chefs expressively demonstrate what their cuisine stands for.

Indulgence, socialising and summer flair

In addition to the chefs’ culinary stations, visitors can look forward to a varied festival weekend with selected drinks, a musical programme and an atmosphere that is deliberately designed to be relaxed and inviting. The food on offer this weekend: each chef will bring around 3–4 dishes priced up to €15, offering a delightful experience in a relaxed open-air setting – casual and unpretentious.
The Schultenhof provides the perfect setting: a special place in Dortmund that uniquely combines nature, hospitality and community. It is precisely this mix that makes the Garden Festival more than just a traditional food event – it is a summer event for connoisseurs, families and anyone who wants to experience Dortmund at its most atmospheric.

A festival with a purpose

In 2026, too, the Garden Festival stands not only for culinary quality but also for social commitment. The weekend will once again have a charitable focus: a portion of the proceeds will go towards maintaining and expanding the water playground at the Schultenhof. In this way, the festival combines enjoyment with tangible benefits for the location where it takes place, turning a special weekend into a project with a lasting impact. “For us, the Garden Festival is far more than just an event – it is a place for encounters, light-heartedness and shared moments of enjoyment,” says Daniel Östreich, organiser of FIVE CHEFS. “The fact that we are extending the festival to three days this year and, at the same time, supporting Schultenhof with its special social and ecological character makes this weekend even more meaningful for us.”
