Restaurant review
Zoldering, Amsterdam
“All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this restaurant, as it offers casual fine dining at its very best: A welcoming and friendly atmosphere, warm and attentive service that, despite the restaurant being fully booked, still finds time for personal conversation and caters to guests individually, a superbly curated wine list at fair prices (the three owners are all qualified sommeliers) and truly well-executed French cuisine that also looks beyond the horizon (which, in this cosmopolitan city, is commonplace not only in gastronomic terms...) and incorporates American, Dutch and Mediterranean twists, amongst other things. Add to that the excellent value for money, and one can really only conclude that, were it not for the three-hour drive from home, ‘Zoldering’ would have all the makings of a favourite or regular haunt.” (Published in January 2026)
