Tim Raue’s restaurant launches the Early Kolibri menu

Berlin

From now on, a five-course meal will be served at 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant

BERLIN. Demand for weekend bookings at Tim Raue’s restaurant has remained consistently high for years. To increase capacity, the restaurant is adding an extra seating slot from Friday 15 May 2026: the new Early Kolibri Dinner will then be served from 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The dining experience is designed to take place between 5pm and 7pm, creating additional booking opportunities on particularly busy weekend evenings.

With this new seating option, Marie-Anne Wild and Tim Raue are responding to the high weekend demand whilst simultaneously creating a new way to experience the restaurant. It is specifically designed for guests in a city where the evening often only begins after dinner. Whether it’s the opera, a concert or the theatre: the Early Kolibri Dinner combines Tim Raue’s cuisine with a clearly defined early time slot, giving guests the freedom to combine top-class cuisine with Berlin’s evening culture.

The new five-course menu captures the essence of the Kolibri menu, combining regional produce and dishes from Tim Raue’s Berlin childhood with his signature flavour profile of sweet, sour and spicy notes across five courses. The meal begins with sprats with cucumber and Imperial caviar, followed by Sangohachi pike-perch with sauerkraut and Peruvian mint. This is followed by the almost legendary wasabi langoustine and the ‘Marie-Anne’ duck à l’orange, which have been among the restaurant’s signature dishes for years. The sweet finale is the Bienenstich, a Berlin classic that is a must on the Early Kolibri menu. The dinner, which ends at 7 pm, deliberately leaves room for whatever else Berlin has in store that evening. The Early Kolibri menu is available for €212 per person, with a drinks pairing available on request from €88, or non-alcoholic from €58. Reservations are now being taken at www.tim-raue.com.
