“Daniel Schimkowitsch’s menu was excellent. It boasts an incredible richness of flavour. On their own, the sauces are actually far too strong. Combined with the main ingredient, which is always of outstanding quality, the result is always harmonious. I am impressed by how, despite the high intensity of all the flavours, nothing is overpowered and no detail is lost – including, and this is the most important thing, the impact of the ingredients themselves. Daniel Schimkowitsch has quite clearly now further defined his style so that it is more distinctive, whilst at the same time the menu impresses with its consistently high quality from start to finish. Even though I’ve always enjoyed my time at L.A. Jordan in the past, you can now clearly see what has been achieved here over the last two or three years. For me, at any rate, L.A.
