Restaurant review
KOMU, Munich
Forum member MacClaus says: “Christoph Kunz focuses on a clear, minimalist style of cooking that avoids gimmicks. His dishes can be understated at times, intense at others, but at their best they are perfectly executed. This time, however, the lunch menu fell well short of my previous experiences at KOMU. Three fish courses in a row – it’s unclear what Kunz was thinking. A hearty course as a contrast would certainly have done the menu good, so that the narrative arc wouldn’t have remained so flat. The service seemed a bit rushed in the busy restaurant, but was friendly and attentive.” (Published in December 2025)
