Amsterdam is losing one of its two-star restaurants

AMSTERDAM. The two-Michelin-starred restaurant Spectrum at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin is closing at the end of May. This was announced jointly by head chef Sidney Schutte and the hotel. “Thanks to Sidney Schutte’s vision, his talent and his tireless pursuit of excellence, Spectrum has established itself as one of the most renowned restaurants in the Netherlands. We are incredibly proud of everything the Spectrum team has achieved,” the statement reads. According to the information provided, a successor project for Spectrum is in the planning stages, but the hotel has not yet disclosed any further details.
