Restaurant review
Cocina Hermanos Torres, Barcelona
Our forum contributor QWERTZ says: “I can’t imagine anyone not liking these dishes. They are incredibly accessible, immediately understandable and all very harmonious – and therefore delicious. But most of the dishes are also so finely crafted and precise that they offer a corresponding level of complexity and depth. Yet perhaps here and there an element is missing that would make them unforgettable. It’s all a touch too smooth and harmonious for me to rate the menu as consistently three-star standard. Another drawback is that the highlights are all in the first half of the menu. A strong finale would certainly have made the menu more impressive – be it in the main course or the dessert. As it was, it was very good, but not a culinary experience in a class of its own. Lovers of classic cuisine will certainly feel more at home here than fans of playful, modern Spanish cuisine.” (Published in November 2025)
