Kitchen Impossible: Trettl vs Mraz

In a thrilling showdown, Roland Trettl and Lukas Mraz go head-to-head, sending each other on a journey across Europe. Lukas travels to Transylvania, Dracula’s homeland, where he is challenged by Romanian cuisine, whilst Roland faces tasks in Bratislava and Berlin that are rather uncharacteristic of those countries. And Lukas also encounters an oriental surprise in Sweden – will he remain undefeated on Kitchen Impossible?

In the second instalment of the Roland Trettl Edition, Roland goes head-to-head with Austria’s Chef of the Year 2025, Kitchen Impossible returnee Lukas Mraz. Both send each other all across Europe, where comfort zones crumble and culinary certainties are thrown into doubt. Will Roland bring the hitherto undefeated Lukas to his knees in the kitchen?

For Lukas, the duel begins in Transylvania, Romania, where he takes a spookily beautiful short trip to Dracula’s Castle. But the box also has a few scares in store for him – and promptly leads him onto thin ice in his analysis.

Roland heads to the Slovakian capital, Bratislava. But even as he gets up close and personal with the local cuisine, it dawns on him more and more that the box has something quite different in store for him – one of the most difficult culinary arts in the world.

In Berlin, however, Roland faces a very different challenge, as the box holds true soul food in store for him – will he be able to rise to the diplomatic challenge?
For Lukas, things take an unexpected oriental turn in Sweden: after a leisurely campervan tour through the Nordic idyll, he is surprised with the black box at the campsite table.
