In Dortmund, Michelin-starred cuisine is taking off

Michael Dyllong is bringing an exclusive pop-up to the airport

DORTMUND. Following the closure of his Michelin-starred restaurant The Stage, Michelin-starred chef Michael Dyllong is launching an extraordinary project in June: an exclusive pop-up restaurant right at Dortmund Airport.

Overlooking the runway, ‘Five Chefs’ will create a culinary experience that uniquely combines fine dining with a special atmosphere. Whilst planes take off and land, guests will enjoy a finely crafted Michelin-starred menu – prepared by Michael Dyllong. At the heart of the experience is the Five Chefs menu. A four-course menu including wine pairings, reflecting the signature style of the Dortmund-based Michelin-starred chef: precise, full of flavour and inspired by international influences.
In addition to the pop-up restaurant, guests can look forward to other special events:

  • 14 June – Cooking class with Michael Dyllong Exclusive cooking class followed by a 4-course menu with wine pairing Price: €289 per person
  • 21 June – Dyllong & Friends Culinary event with Michelin-starred chef Enrico Sablotny, DJ, drinks and food stations Price: €150 per person

The pop-up restaurant itself will take place on selected dates in June. Places are limited; participation is only possible with prior reservation.
“The airport stands for movement, new impressions and perspectives. That is exactly what my cuisine reflects,” says Dyllong. For a short time, this creates a place that goes far beyond a traditional restaurant: an experience blending wanderlust, indulgence and special moments. Accompanied by unique sunsets over the tarmac.
