Restaurant review
Phaedra, Cologne
“Phaedra” is one of those restaurants you really ought to visit much more often. The cuisine doesn’t aim to impress with hyper-creative dishes, but rather showcases excellent ingredients in such a way that their character is preserved and the Mediterranean touch is always evident in the dishes. A modern twist here and there ensures that it never feels arbitrary or boring. Combined with the exceptional wine list and attentive service, this is one of the most reliable and pleasant places to dine in Cologne, even among non-Michelin-starred establishments. It still sparkles here.” (Published in November 2025)
