restaurant review
Hueber, Sankt Georgen an der Leys
Austria, Forum
These two evenings gave us a great overview of the restaurant's menu. And it's admirable how well everything works together. Rustic dishes and refined, sophisticated courses, sometimes with smooth transitions, all have their place here. And the clientele appreciates both. The fact that there are also groups, such as a lively group of ladies, who spend the entire evening enjoying classic snack platters with smoked meat, bacon and cheese and the occasional schnapps, further demonstrates what makes this place so special. Whether you choose beer on tap or from the extensive and sophisticated wine list is equally irrelevant. The aim is to be a place for everyone, a classic but also undogmatic pub, just as one would wish for in this day and age. Let's call it Pub 2.0 – that actually sums it up quite well." MIND by Sabrina Fenzl, Markt Indersdorf
"The blend of local produce and cosmopolitan flavours is spot on. The dishes are very well-defined."
