Star date for Germany set

Frankfurt, Hessen, Guide, Michelin

The Michelin Guide will once again be presented at a gala event in Frankfurt am Main.

FRANKFURT AM MAIN. The date for the publication of the 2026 Michelin Guide for Germany has been set. On 23 June 2026, Frankfurt am Main will once again become the centre of culinary arts in Germany. That is when the Michelin Guide will award its coveted stars.

"The standard of German cuisine remains high, with remarkable achievements by kitchen teams from north to south. We are therefore particularly pleased that Frankfurt am Main is once again hosting the star awards ceremony this year," says Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide.

All eyes on Frankfurt am Main

Frankfurt combines a rich culinary tradition with innovative and cosmopolitan cuisine. The city is considered a meeting place for gourmets and impresses with a lively, creative gastronomic scene. Currently, ten restaurants there shine with Michelin stars.

The stylish ambience of the Palmengarten clubhouse will once again provide the setting for this year's celebration of the outstanding achievements of chefs. In addition to the Michelin stars, the Michelin Special Awards will also be presented for exceptional professional achievements: the Michelin Young Chef Award, the Michelin Sommelier Award, the Michelin Service Award and the Michelin Opening of the Year Award.
