Hohenstein Castle plans flagship project
Bayern
AHORN. Daniel Klein and the Oskar Hacker Foundation, represented by Ralph Veil, have decided to collaborate. Together, they will pursue the goal of establishing a culinary flagship project at Hohenstein Castle. They see it as a historical gem with extraordinary potential, according to a statement.
The focus is on a multi-layered, future-oriented gastronomy concept that combines enjoyment, quality and interaction. Plans include a gourmet restaurant, a high-quality à la carte restaurant, a lively garden with outdoor dining, and an open event and meeting place that combines cuisine, culture and joie de vivre. The overall concept is complemented by a stylish hotel, which will also be managed by Daniel Klein. Schloss Hohenstein will thus offer something for a variety of target groups – from gourmets to day visitors.
Daniel Klein will act as head chef and culinary director in the future. For him, the project is much more than a professional milestone: "It is a great honour and at the same time the realisation of a long-cherished dream. Hohenstein Castle offers the opportunity to create something sustainable – with attitude, depth and heart." The previous hoamART project will be deliberately discontinued and remain a temporary, formative chapter – an important step in the development of Hohenstein.
Part of the shared vision is also the establishment of a business club in Munich: a place for exchange, inspiration, cuisine and entrepreneurial thinking – closely linked to the philosophy and values of the Hohenstein project. The Oskar Hacker Foundation is also committed to long-term cooperation. Ralph Veil emphasises: "We believe in people with vision, in quality and in places with soul. Daniel Klein embodies precisely these values – and the ability to translate them into extraordinary culinary experiences." The partnership is designed for sustainability and substance. It is not about short-term effects, but about building a project with charisma.
restaurant review
The Caper, Vulcano
"Similar to the previous evening, the dishes are very purist and minimalist or product-oriented, which makes sense given that mainly local products are used."
