Star chef Adeline Grattard wants to work full-time in the kitchen again and concentrate on one business

PARIS. The Michelin-starred restaurant Yam'tcha, which is also known for a portrait in the Netflix series Chefs Table, ceased operations on 20 December. "I wanted to get back into the kitchen full-time, which wasn't possible with running several businesses. I was constantly travelling and wanted to dedicate myself to my craft again," chef Adeline Grattard told French media. The restaurant is known for its cuisine with Chinese influences and the combination of dishes with tea.

Adeline Grattard, who previously worked at Astrance and in Hong Kong, among others, opened the restaurant in 2009 and immediately received a Michelin Guide star. She also runs the bistro-café Lai'Tcha, which will close for a fortnight at the end of February for renovation work, but will otherwise continue to operate.
