Sharin Polte moves to Düsseldorf

BERLIN: The former sommelier of Berlin's Michelin-starred restaurant SKYKITCHEN is moving to Düsseldorf in January. There she will become sommelier at the Agatas restaurant, which also has a star rating.
Sharin Polte is listed by Rolling Pin and Schlemmer-Atlas as one of the 50 best sommeliers in Germany. She was also known in the Skykitchen for her non-alcoholic beverage accompaniments. She began her professional career in the Lake Constance region and moved to Berlin in 2017. There she worked as a sommelière and commis sommelière in the Horvath and Faelt restaurants, as well as the Dresden Wine Centre, before becoming head sommelière at Skykitchen in 2022. She also spoke about her work there in our podcast at the beginning of 2025.
