Sharin Polte moves to Düsseldorf

BERLIN: The former sommelier of Berlin's Michelin-starred restaurant SKYKITCHEN is moving to Düsseldorf in January. There she will become sommelier at the Agatas restaurant, which also has a star rating.

Sharin Polte is listed by Rolling Pin and Schlemmer-Atlas as one of the 50 best sommeliers in Germany. She was also known in the Skykitchen for her non-alcoholic beverage accompaniments. She began her professional career in the Lake Constance region and moved to Berlin in 2017. There she worked as a sommelière and commis sommelière in the Horvath and Faelt restaurants, as well as the Dresden Wine Centre, before becoming head sommelière at Skykitchen in 2022.
