In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we asked you how satisfied you are with our portal, what you like and what we could improve. We have analysed the suggestions over the past few days. The suggestions will play an important role in the further technical and content-related development. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the overall very positive feedback for our site, with almost 80 per cent of participants giving our portal four or five out of a possible five stars.

We also asked our users for the first time about their restaurant experiences of the year. We asked them to name the best menu, the best sommelier and the best service. It can be assumed that the users of our website have a wealth of experience to draw on. According to the survey, 80 per cent of participants visit a fine dining restaurant at least once a month or more.

The result: triple victory for Sonnora

Menu of the year: Participants named 144 different restaurants in the survey. 25 of them received more than one vote. Sonnora in Dreis was voted into first place with a certain margin and 7 per cent of the votes. Second place went to Schanz in Piesport, ahead of JAN in Munich.

In the vote for Service of the Year, participants nominated 121 different restaurants. 30 received more than one vote. Here too, Sonnora was named by far the most frequently with 8 per cent of the votes, ahead of ES:SENZ in Grassau and Schwarzwaldstube in Baiersbronn.

When asked about the best sommelier service, whether in the form of wine accompaniment, menu design or advice, 102 restaurants were named. 23 received more than one vote. Sonnora in Dreis also won the vote here with 23 per cent of the votes, ahead of Schwarzwaldstube in Baiersbronn and ES:SENZ in Grassau.
