Our top 5 podcasts of the year

Our podcast gained many new listeners in 2025. These five episodes were the most popular of the year...

Our podcast year 2025

Our podcast with guests from the world of fine dining has now been running for more than six years. During this time, we have welcomed a mixture of well-known names from the fine dining scene and young talents as guests, including three-star chefs, newcomers, sommeliers and restaurant managers. At the centre of each conversation is the respective understanding of the work in the top restaurants as well as the sources and paths of creativity.

2025 was extremely successful for our podcast, with significantly more listeners joining this year. As a result, we have now collectively exceeded the 3,000 subscriber mark on the most important platforms. Over time, all episodes have reached 500 or more listeners, and many have even been listened to more than 1,000 times. This is a remarkable figure for a podcast on a niche topic. However, we appreciate the direct feedback from the industry and the recognition from professionals even more. We are particularly pleased that, without exception, more than 50 per cent of those who start an episode of our podcast listen (almost) through to the end. According to the relevant statistics, this is an outstanding figure and a great endorsement for us. We are very grateful for this. However, we would like our podcast to become even better known and more widely used, especially by guests. From our point of view, listening to an interview about the restaurant and its philosophy on the journey to the restaurant, for example, is ideal preparation for a visit.

As many people may have a little more time during the Christmas and New Year period - whether travelling or at home - we have listed the five most successful episodes of 2025 here. However, this is just a suggestion to browse through older episodes of the now 180 episodes. There are many interesting conversations to be found there. We have already recorded a whole series of interviews for the year 2026. The raw versions will be on our hard drive well into the spring, and we can promise a programme that will continue to be exciting. So it's worth subscribing to the podcast.

"Despite the opulence that characterises some of these dishes, they are nevertheless distinguished by a pleasant lightness."
