Insolvenz
New Josch says goodbye
STUTTGART. Sven Lacher and Cindy Volkmer, who previously ran the fine dining restaurant New Josch, are saying goodbye. Provisional insolvency proceedings have been running over the company since the summer. "Despite the restaurant often being fully booked, a significant increase in sales and a high level of personal commitment, we have unfortunately not been able to run this large establishment on Stuttgart's Killesberg in an economically viable manner," reads a statement. There is therefore no future for the two of them at New Josch and the restaurant will no longer open in 2026. The owner of the establishment is pursuing his own gastronomic goals with a fundamental conceptual change, the information continues.
