Guide Michelin 2026 rates 25 restaurants in Serbia

(13 December 2025) - The Michelin Guide 2026 for the Serbian capital Belgrade has grown by five restaurants compared to the previous year and now includes 25 establishments. The edition is the fifth after the first publication in 2021. "The new edition of the Michelin Guide Belgrade reflects the remarkable progress and consistency of the Serbian gastronomic scene. We are proud to continue supporting the local chefs and restaurateurs who are shaping Serbia's culinary reputation and strengthening it internationally," said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide.

One star

Restaurants with one Michelin star defend their award for the second time in a row. Langouste in the historic centre, under the direction of chef Marko Đerić, continues to offer refined interpretations of many local products in delicious, carefully prepared recipes with a modern twist. The Fleur de Sel restaurant, idyllically located in rural Novi Slankamen, also lived up to expectations. The kitchen team's recipes are characterised by French influences. The chef is Nikola Stojaković.

Bib Gourmand

Bela Reka was included in the Bib Gourmand selection. The restaurant is located in Novi Beograd, the modern part of the capital. It is characterised by its traditional and rich cuisine with meat and cheese specialities and close cooperation with its suppliers, including its own farm. The spacious restaurant is characterised by friendly and attentive service in an often lively atmosphere.

Istok, with its intriguing Southeast Asian cuisine and sleek, minimalist ambience, and Iva New Balkan Cuisine, where the atmosphere is modern and welcoming from the moment you enter, also received the same well-deserved accolade. Guests here enjoy traditional Serbian recipes with a modern twist, especially in the presentation.

Recommendations

Five new restaurants have been added to the selection of recommendations:

  • Suvenir: Located just outside the city centre but in a houseboat on the Sava, the timeless atmosphere invites you to enjoy the simple, traditional and equally appealing dishes such as grilled prawns or Adriatic octopus with potatoes. The elegant dining rooms and professional service complete the experience.
  • Prime: With its bright and elegant rooms in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, it nevertheless has a charm all of its own. High-quality, predominantly Mediterranean dishes are served here, inspired by the chef's Italian experience: fresh pasta is a speciality.
  • Puter: The name means "butter" in Serbian and is an expression of the intention of the cuisine, which is inspired both by French cuisine, in which butter is a main ingredient, and Serbian cuisine, in which butter plays an equally important role. The modern bistro serves dishes based on traditional, sometimes slow cooking methods and also impresses with its aesthetically pleasing presentation.
  • S5 by Angie: Run by the young and motivated chef Anđela Risimić, who has worked here before, she adds her personal touch to the restaurant's characteristic Italian flair. Influenced by her experiences abroad, including in Italy and other European countries, the rabbit ravioli with mushroom sauce is a perfect example of savoury cuisine.
  • Restoran 27: In every aspect of the offer - food, service and ambience - the well-being of the guests takes centre stage. In addition to etiquette, everything is done to make guests feel at home. The restaurant offers a selection of personal recipes that draw on classic flavours while interpreting them imaginatively. They are inspired by Serbia, in particular by the origins of many ingredients, but also by Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in general.
