New guest patron at Clash KITCHENS in Berlin
Berlin
BERLIN: The next culinary chapter begins at Clash Kitchens & Bar: After celebrity chef Graciela Cucchiara, Berlin chef Kristof Mulack, who won the third season of the TV show The Taste (2015), is taking over from November. Under the motto "New Berlin cuisine - creative, regional and uncompromising", he is now bringing the capital to the plate in Köpenick.
Mulack is not only a Berliner taking over the kitchen, but also a former The Taste colleague of Cucchiara. He won the third season as part of Team Tim Mälzer and has been on the fast track ever since. In 2018, he was honoured with the Tisk Speisekneipe at the Berlin Master Chefs in the 'trendy restaurant' category and won the Silver Palm at the Leaders Club Award.
Today, Mulack, who is known as a private chef, consultant and Youtuber, stands for cuisine with attitude: honest, loud and with a Berlin flavour. His dishes combine a sense of home with international flavours. The new menu therefore combines hearty classics with fine flavours, such as black pudding croquettes on smoked apple sauce, Königsberger Klopse with baked caper apples or red fruit jelly with Amarena cherries and tapioca pearls. Typical Mulack: always down-to-earth and always with a twist.
"I want to bring people together at the table - with food that connects, moves and entertains. My cuisine is honest, creative, with rough edges. I love it when flavour tells a story. Preferably one from Berlin," says Kristof Mulack.
Cucchiara, who was the first gourmet patron to open the innovative concept with her Italian mamma cuisine and plenty of Argentinian temperament, will remain a symbol of the restaurant. Her signature dish 'Polpo con Crema di Patate' (octopus with almond and potato cream) is still on the menu. The idea behind it: Every gastropub leaves behind a culinary legacy that continues to write the history of the restaurant.
Clash KITCHENS AND BAR kicks off the winter months with Mulack's takeover. Including seasonal highlights such as Waldorf-style celeriac soup and baked apple crumble. The new menu will remain in place until March 2026 and, as with all patrons, was developed in collaboration with the restaurant's kitchen team. All Clash KITCHENS AND BAR news will be shared on the hotel's Instagram channels @nyxhotelberlinkoepenick and the restaurant @clashberlinkoepenick, providing information about guest DJs and special events at the hotel.
The Clash KITCHENS AND BAR has a total of 168 seats inside and 100 seats on the terrace. The restaurant is open daily from 12:00 to 22:00, while the bar is open from 12:00 to 00:00. Parking spaces are available in the underground car park. The address is Grünauer Str. 1, 12557 Berlin.
