Following the departure of Christian Scharrer, there will be no successor at the two-star restaurant

WEISSENHAUS. The Courtier restaurant at the Weissenhaus resort on the Baltic Sea, which was previously awarded two stars, has ceased operations. This was announced by the resort to Restaurant-Ranglisten.de. Following the departure of head chef Christian Scharrer and restaurant manager Natalie Scharrer to Switzerland, there will therefore be no successor. The hotel had previously made no statement about the future of the restaurant.

Christian and Natalie Scharrer left Weissenhaus at the end of October. They are moving to the Waldhotel by Bürgenstock in Obbürgen. Both started at the Courtier in 2016. Under their management, the restaurant achieved two stars in the Michelin Guide and similar ratings in the other restaurant guides, keeping the Courtier in the top 25 of our restaurant rankings.
