Restaurant review

The Lisbeth, Hamburg

Hamburg, The Lisbeth, Forum

"All the dishes are well thought out, flavourful and harmonious throughout."

"André Stolle uses the ingredients of typical North German dishes to create creative new dishes. This gives the menu a clear direction and offers guests orientation. The dishes range from those that remain relatively close to the original to completely new compositions. During the brief discussion at the end of the menu, André Stolle emphasises that his aim is to offer more than just a refinement of traditional dishes. And he achieves this goal: all the dishes are well thought out, flavourful and harmonious throughout. The result is a menu that draws on familiar flavours while offering a pleasant complexity. For me, the restaurant is particularly suitable for guests who want to experience Michelin-starred cuisine for the first time. There are no threshold fears here - the atmosphere and the dishes are equally inviting." (Published in June 2025)
