Launch of the gourmet restaurant with a soft opening phase

ELTVILLE. The Kronenschlösschen is initially reopening its gourmet restaurant on a daily basis. A 6-course menu will be offered on three dates until the end of November. At the request of Restaurant-Ranglisten.de, a concrete date for permanent regular operation could not yet be given. However, the Kronenschlösschen newsletter recently stated that "the long wait is over" and that guests should now have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the style of the new head chef Marco Langer. Initially, a six-course menu will be offered on 14 November and 21 November for 165 euros.

Marco Langer took over the culinary management of the Kronenschlösschen in August. He previously achieved a star in Radebeul in Saxony with the Atelier Sanssouci. Now he also wants to offer fine dining in the Rheingau. With his new sous-chef Nam Begemann (who has worked at the Adlon Berlin, Suvretta House St. Moritz and Tristan Brandt, among others) and our experienced sous-chef Sascha van der Heide, he has built up a new team, according to Kronenschlösschen. New dishes are conceived and cooked, "classics" are discovered and everything is combined with stylish harmony. Of course, special attention continues to be paid to the "match" with exceptional wines from the hotel's famously large wine cellar. Following the departure of Florian Richter, Miriam Fischer, who previously worked as deputy restaurant manager and sommelière at the Kronenschlösschen, is now responsible for this.
