Restaurant review
Abbot's and shepherd's parlour, Amorbach
Bayern, Amorbach, Forum
"My husband and I were simply delighted with the variety of dishes. When the host Dominik Schmidt asked us if this was our first time here, I spontaneously replied: "Yes, but definitely not for the last time." Here you can feel the passion with which everyone in the team works to give their guests unforgettable moments of pleasure and a precious break from everyday life. At this special place, you can leave the stress of everyday life at the door and simply enjoy yourself. It is a place to arrive, where time loses its meaning for a while. We felt incredibly at home in the restaurant right from the start - so much so that my husband was even thinking about staying overnight in the hotel on our next visit. We were also particularly impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the service team, who looked after us with great friendliness. Our heartfelt thanks go to Dominik Schmidt, the entire service team, head chef Daniel Stelling and his team, as well as Kersten Mügge, who introduced us to this wonderful place in the first place. This time out was a real treat for all our senses - an experience that will stay with us for a long time to come." (Published in June 2025)
