Aperitif meets after work at Bülow Palais
DRESDEN With a new culinary format for the afternoon, Caroussel Nouvelle, the public brasserie in the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Bülow Palais, is bringing a slice of the French way of life to Dresden's baroque quarter.
The aperitif is to France as tea time is to Britain. With savoury snacks and wine or cocktails, it builds a bridge to dinner - and is popular as an informal get-together among colleagues directly after work. With "High Wine", sommelier Felix Grupe and chef Sven Vogel from Caroussel Nouvelle bring a slice of the French way of life to Dresden's Baroque quarter. Four wines and four matching samples from the current menu are now available every day at 3 pm.
"Enjoy a relaxed and light meal with friends and colleagues straight after work while discovering new wines and dishes: We invite you to do just that with this new format for Dresden," says sommelier Felix Grupe. Wine and food are matched and can be both savoury and sweet. "High Wine is relaxed and communicative. That's why we serve the mini menu at a table in the Palais Bar."
High Wine can now be ordered daily at the Palais Bar of the Caroussel Nouvelle at Königstraße 14 in Dresden. The price is 45 euros per person. ■

Sous-vide cooking is still used quite frequently here, but this did not have a negative effect on the texture. The atmosphere is impressive, and the service is extremely friendly.” (Published in…
