Publication takes place in Monaco

PARIS. For the first time, Monaco will host the publication ceremony of the Michelin Guide for France, which also recognises restaurants in Monaco. The newly recognised restaurants and the winners of the special awards for the 2026 edition will be announced. According to Michelin, this initiative is part of the joint efforts of the Principality of Monaco and the Société des Bains de Mer - the partners of the event. The commitment is intended to showcase the region through its gastronomy.

The Principality of Monaco has been represented in the Michelin Guide since its first edition in 1900 and sets standards in terms of gastronomy and lifestyle. Today, its culinary scene, led by internationally renowned chefs, shines thanks to its boldness, creativity and openness to global trends. "By hosting the ceremony in Monaco for the first time, we are honouring one of the Guide's most traditional destinations, whose gastronomic scene is synonymous with excellence, creativity and international reach. After ceremonies in emblematic locations in the west and east of France and in the Loire Valley in previous years, we are delighted to bring together the country's most famous gastronomic talents in the generous south-east - part of a living culinary heritage that we are proud to promote," explained Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of Guides Michelin.

The event will bring together all the chefs whose restaurants have been recognised in the 2026 selection, as well as many other prominent figures from the world of gastronomy, including industry experts, representatives of institutions working to promote culinary culture and journalists from France and abroad. The event will be broadcast live on the Michelin Guide's social media channels.
